Due to recent inclement weather and resulting disruptions to our instructional time, Friday, February 13th will now be a full instructional day for all students and Monday, February 16th will a half day for students, with dismissal at 12:00pm. The remainder of the day will be designated as a PLC day for staff.

Halifax County Schools proudly congratulates Northwest Halifax High School on a series of outstanding performances that showcased excellence, teamwork, and leadership both on and off the court. In a dominant showing at the 2nd Annual Halifax Christmas Tournament, the Northwest Halifax Vikings defeated Weldon STEM High School, 58–52, demonstrating resilience, preparation, and competitive excellence.
